GCL's Lit Mag
How to Submit, What to Submit:
Send an email to GaiaChiLit@gmail.com with your actual name and email address in the body; This will not appear publicly. No note to editor.
Attach one poem or microstory in docx, pdf, or odt format, preferably in Times New Roman 12 point font.
Under your submission add Copyright 2026* followed either by your initials and city, state or country OR your actual name OR your pseudonym. This will be shown publicly with your submission if selected.
If you wish, below that include a very brief note of how you came to write the poem or its significance to you. (See Mi Chau’s example in “Readers’ Poems.” / “Lit Mag”.)
Submissions are much more likely to be considered if they are under 16 lines (poems) and 150 words and are in some slant way relevant to themes in the War Book.
Gaia Chi Lit does not currently pay for submissions published online, and it does not retain any other rights to publish your work. We may keep your work on our website for as short or as long as we choose.
By submitting, you promise that this is your original creation (no AI), you take 100% liability for any copyright violation, and you own the publishing rights.
* Copyright 2026. (Substitute the first year poem was completed in the form submitted.) This type of copyright is free, automatic, and is not registered by us with the copyright office.
CAUTION: If your poem or prose is posted here on Lit Mag or in any public medium, many other literary magazines and publishers will not consider this same piece for their publications. We accept previously published poems if you own the publishing rights.
